Explore some of these and other sites such as the Manhyia Palace, Kejetia market which is the largest open market in West Africa among others.  

Day 1: With an early departure from Accra, take a 5 hour drive to Kumasi. Embark on a city tour to the Manhyia Palace, the Art centre, the Prempeh Museum, Okomfo Anokye sword site and the military museum. Check in to your hotel for the night.

Day 2: Depart for Elmina via the Assin Manso Slave River site.  The site is where the slaves had their last bath in African waters before being locked up at the slave castles in wait for shipment. Also visit the Cape Coast Castle built by the British in 1665 for another tour before retiring the day at your hotel in Elmina.

Day 3: Check out of hotel and visit the Elmina Castle built by the Portuguese in 1482. Explore the history of Elmina on foot after the castle tour. The last tour will be to the Kakum National Park. The Kakum National Park offers the traveller an interesting trail to the most popular Canopy Walkway in Africa whiles learning about the medicinal value of the trees in the forest. Return to Accra after tour.

Enjoy some time at the Mole National Park in the Northern Region of Ghana. This is the biggest elephant sanctuary in West Africa and boast of other primates such as antelopes, warthogs, baboons, monkeys among others. You will also access the near attractions and villages whiles here.

Day 1: Drive from Accra to Mole. This 11 hour trip will commence from Accra at 04:00am and will have some stops en route for washroom, lunch and the Kintampo waterfalls.Kintampo Falls  flows from the  Pumpu River which falls some 70 meters down beautiful rocky steps. Take a short break from the journey with a tour here descending the over 150 steps to the base of the falls. Arrival and overnight at the Mole Motel.

Day 2: Spend the day on a safari at one of the largest game reserves in West Africa home to elephants, baboons, monkeys, antelopes, warthogs, etc. This two hour walk will take you closest to the elephants and the other primates. You can also choose to go in a safari jeep. Later explore nearby attractions such as the Larabanga mosque, the mystery stone and Mognori village. Overnight at the Mole Motel.

Day 3: Start early drive back to Accra via Kumasi. You will be dropped off at your hotel to end the tour.

If you have limited time in Accra but would love to see some animals in the wild, join us on this tour to the Shai Game Reserve, just an hour north of Accra. Experience up close, animals such as zebras, ostrich, baboons, antelopes among others. This tour lasts between 4 to 5 hours.

Starting at 8am or 10am, you will be picked up from your place of stay for the hour ride to the reserve. Upon arrival, you will embark on a safari in a car of the park where you will come up close with some primates in their habitats. This includes zebras, monkeys, baboons, antelopes, bats, ostrich and others. You will also get the chance to hike and explore some caves and hills to see bats among others. This park has more than animals to see. It has a rich history of its occupation by the Shai people of Osu Doku who used to settle here. It offered them a solace from slave raids and attacks. Later on the 19th century the British administration evicted the settlers for their failure to pay the imposed poll tax.  After this experience you will return to Accra where you will be dropped off your place of stay.
